Oh Man!

It feels like I am finally making progress. The trash came today and took a bunch of junk and I filled up the trash cans again lol. This feels great. I've been working on my sister's baby shower invitations these past few days also and they are almost complete. I just need some more stamps and am waiting on a few address. It has been two more days without Dr. Pepper and I'm doing good. LOL!
One Tree Hill started again tonight. It hasn't been on in a long time and I was so excited that it was starting up again. I think it is going to be good, I was a little hesitant about it, but after the second hour, I think it will work!
I've been watching the Biggest Losers Couples and I sure wish I was there. I'm voting for the orange team since that is my favorite color! They have been the biggest losers both weeks, so we will see how they go the rest of the show.
I plan on getting in some boxing tomorrow and maybe a little bowling...on the Wii of course! I love that Wii. It's awesome. Some friends of ours have one too and we are gonna get together and play each other. I love bowling and this is so much fun. It gives me and hubby some together time that isn't watching a movie, we are up moving and I think it is awesome!!!!!
Well, it is super late, but I had to finish ironing all of hubbys work clothes and I made him a bunch of breakfast tacos to take to work the rest of the week. He is loving being with Houston. I'm so dang proud of him, its great! Have a great night!

It's Me

Well, it's a whole different year and another chance to change everything you didn't like about last year, well kinda :-) This year, I didn't want to make goals or resolutions that I knew by February, I wouldn't still be doing. Instead, I have commited to a few things that I have to do for me. I'm happy to say that I've been doing them for almost a week now and they are pretty much habbit. I've been dejunking my house. Crap just has to go. It's great. I gave up Dr. Pepper, gasp, gasp, gasp...okay, I'm fine...really. I've been drinking Dr. Pepper forever and I know that it so isn't good for me. I haven't had any since the first. I have a few other things that I'm doing, but if I post them, then they won't mean as much.
On a different note, we got a Wii. In case you didn't know, it's like the best game system ever!! Okay, that is my opinion. I am having so much fun playing it. Boxing is such a workout. Even hubby loves it and I was worried about that. I didn't want him thinking that I just wanted a video game. We've been saving for it for a while now and it sure felt great to get. My mother-in-law gave us a gift card for Christmas so we knew that it would put us closer to our goal and this paycheck, we did it!!!!! Now, we've got to get an extra controler so I can box Adam. (I'm going to practice during the day so I can get him when he gets home) lol!
The kids are doing great! Kaydence can sit up unassisted now. She falls over every once in a while, but for the most part, she is sitting tall. She started having ceral and baby food and man, you should see some of her faces. Kameron is loving golf on the Wii. He thinks that is the coolest thing. He was so excited when he realized that we had one he could play at home. Adam starts his EMT training this week. He will go to school for like two weeks and then he starts a rotation at a firestation. We are excited about that because we have a few trips planned during our five days off periods. It's gonna be great. Well, I hope everyone had a great new year and a wonderful Christmas. I don't know when I'll post again, I'm not very good about it, but I'll try.

Crayon Rolls

Today my sister-in-law posted the cutest crayon holders. They are awesome!! They will make a great stocking stuffer and perfect for all of those kiddos that love colors. You can check them out at her website: Homemade with Love. I think she did a great job and I can't wait to get the one she made for Kameron. I'll post a picture of it on here when she gets it done!!! Great Job Sis!!!

Today was the Day

Today was the day....I finally organized Kam's closet the way I wanted. I had Adam build me two shelves, and I bought 8 buckets from the dollar store to organize in. I then preceded to go through the toy box, and sort. By the time I was done, two trash bags came out full, a love seat full of stuff to donate and one organized room. It looks great, I'm so excited. My SIL is borrowing my camera, but once she is done, I'll post some pictures. I still have a few more things I am going to do to it, but for now, it is great!!! He can just grab a bucket and play with something and all the pieces are there. Then he can just put everything back and put it back on the shelf. By the time I got done sorting, there was no need for the toy box so out it went. He is excited too, he didn't remember that he had half of the stuff that I pulled out of there. It was a huge mess but no more!!! I'm so proud of myself. Took about 5 hours to get everything right, but oh so worth it. I'm tacking the Christmas lights outside tomorrow morning before the rain comes.
