Time

It has been a lot of time since I posted last. I was doing so good at keeping it up and poof, 2 weeks and I'm so behind. Not too much has been going on though. My kiddos have been sick. Coughing, running noses, watery eyes, that sorta thing. On top of that, Kaydence is getting her two top teeth. Hasn't been the easiest time. I helped my mom a few different days at her school. Man, there really hasn't been much going on. I've got the house clean. Tomorrow, I'm going to see Lisa for a few hours while Adam tests. Good grief, this is a pathetic post. LOL!!

In My Arms

When I was pregnant with Kaydence, I was babysitting while Adam was finishing school. The little boy that I babysat went to sleep on his own. No rocking, no holding, just lay him in is crib and he goes to sleep. Kameron is so not like that. So I decided that I wanted to try to have Kaydence be like that. I didn't know that it would come with such a high price. I never get to cuddle her. She hates with a passion for me to hold her in my arms. The only time I hold her, is when I'm feeding her, which is only for like 10 minutes a few times a day. I got what I wanted though, she sleeps in her room, every night, without falling asleep with aid. She will just latch onto her blanket, like her life depended on her not letting go, and falls asleep. But, the other night, we were leaving my mom's house. Kaydence had went to bed hours before we were ready to leave, it was like 11 when we decided to head out. She was so out of it asleep. When I picked her up, she snuggled right up to me and kept sleeping. It made my heart melt. It brought tears to my eyes and just gave me warm fuzzies. I sat down with her for a while and Adam came back in looking for me. He went and got the camera and snapped a few pictures. It will be a wonderful memory for me, getting to hold her in my arms.

Happy Mother's Day

If I hurry, I can get this posted before the day is over. We've been at my mom's house all day and it was so great to spend the day together. My sisters came over and we all got to hang out, play a few games, and have brunch. It was so much fun and just made me feel so good. I know that mom was so happy. You could tell at the end of the night, that she got what she really wanted. I want to try to get together like that more often, because I know how much it means to her. I had a great day. Happy Mother's Day everyone!!!!

Blurb

Shelly posted in her blog about an awesome website. Blurb is a website that lets you create your own books. The totally cool thing about it is that it lets you upload your blog into a book. It carries everything over and creates the book for you. I went through and put smaller posts on the same page so I wouldn't have as many pages. It was so neat. It took some hours though to get everything right. I had to go through and edit multiple times and I'm sure I missed something. When I got ready to checkout, I searched for an online code and found this one: istockphoto2008. It is good until July 31, 2008. It takes 7 dollars off the shipping, and when the shipping is 13 bucks, it really helps. My book runs from October 2006 until my last post before this one. It was really neat and I'm glad I went ahead and did it instead of waiting so it wouldn't be as much with tons of more pages. If I wouldn't have edited, then it would have been like 72 pages. But, it was 44 by the time I was done. I think that there is a way to link a copy of it so people can view it. I will once I figure out how. Thanks Shelly, for letting me know about this!! I'm excited. Looks like this will be my Mother's Day present since I can't find the Wii Fit anywhere to pre-order :(

Silence

From about 2:30 today until 4:45, I had silence. Adam, Kameron and Kaydence were all sleeping. It was so relaxing and nice! I finished a book, cleaned the kitchen up and just relaxed. I feel very calm and relaxed. I know I keep saying that, but it describes my mood perfectly. It was nice to have some time to myself without having to leave, or the kiddos being gone. I never get Kameron and Kaydence to nap together, so this was a nice treat.
The book that I read was the first one in a series of like 5 I think. It was really good, emotional, but good. I can't wait to start the other ones. I got them all last night from my mom. I love reading, it is such a wonderful thing. If I didn't read, I don't know what I would do. I'm so glad that Kameron loves books too. I hope that as he gets older, he will love reading. It is so good for you. It expands your vocabulary and just makes you smarter! There is so much that you can learn from books. I hope to pass on my love of reading to both of my kiddos!!

Can't Wait

I have been waiting on a book ever since I read about it on Stacy Julian's Blog. It is her newest book, Photo Freedom. I can't wait. It has been out for a while, but I've been waiting on Amazon to get it. I have Amazon Prime, thanks Amber and Tre, so all of my items, regardless of price, ship free. It is awesome!!! It is two day shipping at that. So, it should be here Monday. WOOOHOOOO!!!!! I'm so excited.

She is such an amazing scrapper. I have totally fallen in love with her ideas for scrapbooking. So many of my ideas, come from her. She is so inspirational and creative. I can't wait to get this book!!! I'll be great!!!
