Oh My Gosh!!!

Well, our Escape has been having a bunch of problems for a while. The latest set is going to cost around 1700 bucks in just parts. Not labor, parts. And, they won't know if that will actually fix the problem. Great right??? Not really. So, we had been looking at cars online and doing comparison shopping and tons of reading. Friday night, my parents were watching the kiddos and we were going out on a date. We get to Humble early and Adam asks if we want to stop and check out some of the cars that we were looking up online. Sure, why not, we've got a bunch of time to kill. First stop was the Toyota place, didn't really have time for us. Didn't want us to test drive the car and only seemed interested in how much money we had to put towards a car. Didn't know much about it and overall, we just didn't get a good feeling. We headed over to the Hyundai dealership because it was right next door. We had two there that we wanted to look at. We checked out both of them and then test drove the one we liked better. Wow, it was so nice. We really liked that car. So, we set down with them to crunch some numbers. We liked the color best on one of their demo cars so that dropped the price even more. Plus, the loan guy, his best friend was a firefighter, so they gave us a little better deal. Not sure how much that one was. Anyways, we bought a car. In a little over 2.5 hrs, we were the new owners of a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. OMG!!!!! What were we thinking! LOL. I was so nervous the whole time. We can afford it, it was just that we've never had to make a payment on anything since we've been married. Big step for us. It gets wonderful, wonderful gas mileage. It drives so nice and is quiet. It's Carbon Grey. I love it. It has XM Radio built in and it comes with three months free. It has an auxiliary plug for my IPOD.
