Garner State Park

Wheew, what a trip. We left Wednesday morning and stayed until Saturday afternoon. It was so much fun. We went with some friends of ours, so in total there were 7 of us and two infants. It was so beautiful. The Park is located on the Frio River, which is a river fed by three natural springs, making the river cold, hence the name Frio. The first times we went, the water was perfect. The last morning we were there though, we went earlier in the morning and it was cold!!!!!!!! Once we got used to it, it was great though. We made smores, played games, went hiking, cooked over a campfire, made friends with about 4 skunks, saw huge deer, played putt-putt golf, rocked the babies to sleep while sitting in the river, went crawling through a cave, had two different people get stung by a bee and many other things. That looks like an amazing trip! The water looks like SO much fun. Glad you guys had such a blast.
